Remembering America’s Heros

Author: 912 Project Idaho | Date: May 28, 2010

We’ve tired this year of watching the President of our Country make a tour of the world apologizing for the “arrogance” of America.  On this day of remembrance, we must each pause to recall the history of American Heros as it really happened, and reject the revisionist perversions of “progressivism” that work to tarnish our history of greatness!  As you view the photos that follow here, and see the vast expanse of small white crosses… remember that each one of those crosses represents a hero that fought and died to defend the freedom and liberty of our “allied citizens”.  This is hardly an act of arrogance… and our President should bow to no one!

The American Battle Monuments Commission, established by the Congress in 1923, is an agency of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government.

The Commission—guardian of America’s overseas commemorative cemeteries and memorials—honors the service, achievements and sacrifice of United States Armed Forces.

The Commission’s commemorative mission includes:
• Designing, constructing, operating and maintaining permanent American cemeteries in foreign countries.
• Establishing and maintaining U.S. military memorials, monuments and markers where American armed forces have served overseas since April 6, 1917, and within the U.S. when directed by public law.
• Controlling the design and construction of permanent U.S. military monuments and markers by other U.S. citizens and organizations, both public and private, and encouraging their maintenance.

The ABMC commemorative mission is reflected in 24 overseas military cemeteries that serve as resting places for almost 125,000 American war dead; on Tablets of the Missing that memorialize more than 94,000 U.S. servicemen and women; and through 25 memorials, monuments and markers.  The photographs shown below are being shared here from from their website at http://www.abmc.gov/home.php

APOLOGIZE TO NO ONE.

Remind those of our sacrifice and don’t confuse arrogance with leadership.  If I added correctly the count is 104,366 dead.

HOW MANY FRENCH, DUTCH, ITALIANS, BELGIANS AND BRITS ARE BURIED ON OUR SOIL, DEFENDING US AGAINST OUR ENEMIES?

WE DON’T ASK FOR PRAISE ... BUT WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE!!

PLEASE——DO THINK ABOUT THIS, AND REMEMBER THIS WHEN ELECTION TIME COMES AROUND AGAIN IN NOVEMBER.
