Planned Economy or Planned Destruction?

U.S. Senate Stands with NRA in Strongly Opposing U.N. Gun Control Efforts

Author: Valerie C | Date: July 24, 2011

For nearly 20 years, the NRA has worked tirelessly to oppose any United Nations effort to undermine the constitutional rights of law-abiding American gun owners.  The latest attempt by the U.N. and global gun banners to eliminate our Second Amendment freedoms is to include civilian arms in the current Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), which will be finalized next year.

ID Senate Committee Dismisses Voice of The People

Author: Valerie C | Date: February 25, 2011

Despite the overwhelming testimony (40:2) in favor of advancing HB117 (Health Care nullification bill) to the Senate Floor for further debate, the following committee members essentially “thumbed their noses” at the united voice of hundreds of Idahoans today.  Engaged and educated citizens took their personal time to participate in the legislative process, simply asking for further debate on the issue, yet they were openly

Idaho House First to Nullify ObamaCare

Author: Valerie C | Date: February 20, 2011

News spread quickly of Idaho’s House move to nullify the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act [popularly known as ObamaCare].  As Idahoans, we all know that the Nation is watching as we lead the way to assert the authority of our state sovereignty guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment.  Here is just a sampling of the many articles that are circulating.  Emphasis has been added in the second one to disclose the names of republican representatives who “jumped ship” on

Why Were U.S. Socialists Rallying in Support of Egypt This Weekend?

Author: Valerie C | Date: February 01, 2011

There appears to be a good reason to ask this question after closer scrutiny of the media coverage from several different U.S. rallies to show “solidarity” with Egypt.  At first, what emerged from Egypt were images and stories of peaceful “freedom seekers” wanting only to find the freedom they had been denied for decades under the brutal dictatorship of Mubarak.  As supporting rallies immediately emerged in the United States, what we began to see were the familiar sights and sounds of leftwing “organized” protests from those who are open proponents of chaos in America.

North Dakota Gets It Right!

Author: Valerie C | Date: January 08, 2011

With a seemingly endless supply of stories in the media critical of government agencies that are not fulfilling their role as public servants in taking care of the needs of “the citizens”, it’s a refreshing change of pace to see that some citizens actually remember what it means to be “self reliant”.  Take a look at this recent message about North Dakota communities who still understand the importance of being prepared for most anything.  It’s a message to which we subscribe and one that we continue to promote regularly to all who will listen, including

FCC Votes 3-2 to Regulate Internet via Net Neutrality

Author: 912 Project Idaho | Date: December 21, 2010

The FCC has voted 3-2 along political lines to extend the government’s reach and regulate the internet via net neutrality.

The vote to institute net neutrality rules marks the first time the government has stepped into the world of internet regulation. Proponent’s of the net neutrality rules say that the move allows the government to stop companies from controlling too much of the internet, while opponents view it as a scary example of government control and an impediment of private business.

We Will Never Forget!!

Author: 912 Project Idaho | Date: September 11, 2010

As we see yet another anniversary pass, now nine in number, the shock and pain of this tragic day in 2001 remains vivid in our memories.  So many innocent lives were needlessly lost, leaving families broken and changing America’s perspective of the world forever.  Yet this day in our history also served to resurrect the “Spirit of America”, which for so many had been lost in the complacency of our personal lives.  It is this same spirit of freedom that continues to stir a feeling of unity among us that gives hope for the future of our country!

Another New Executive Order—Re: Oceans (?)

Did any one of us notice what happened while the rest of the nation was distracted by election jabber and not one, but TWO, looming congressional ethics hearings?  Well here it is!  This EO, signed July 19, 2010, appears to have stemmed from the recent Deep Water Horizon accident and establishes yet another new government agency referred to as the “National Ocean Council” which appears to have the responsibility and authority for dealing with surrounding oceans and coastal areas of the United States, and the Great Lakes.  We should not be surprised that this administration’s response to the recent gulf oil spill disaster is more government

If you’ve been listening to Glenn Beck lately, you know that he is very concerned about the possibility that the “desperation” of losing ground in the battle for the nation’s soul may cause the progressives to turn up the flame on racist bashing against conservatives, in an attempt to cause civil unrest.  We’re already seeing this in the immigration riots of Arizona and California, and now the DOJ’s unjust dismissal of the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party.

GOP Lawmakers Warn of Administration Plan to Grant Amnesty to Illegal Immigrants

Sonoran Desert - outside Tucson, AZ

Author: Valerie C | Date: May 26, 2010

The following information was recently received in one of those “anonymous” emails that circulate so freely these days, but unlike most others, I found the images here so profoundly shocking that I felt it was worthwhile to share them.  Most of us can only offer our opinions about illegal immigration based on our personal beliefs and our understanding that we are a nation of laws.  As such, we respect the laws that govern such issues as “lawful immigration”.  Few of us (if any) in this part of the country have ever actually witnessed the impact of our breached borders directly, and most related dialog seems to focus on the strain it places on state and local law enforcement and their economies.

THIS Picture Speaks a Thousand Words!

Author: Valerie C | Date: May 06, 2010

The phrase “a picture speaks a thousand words” has never been more true than it is in regard to the following photograph that was supposedly taken in the midst of recent demonstrations in Arizona.  Many of the leftist “social justice” types would have us believe that we are selfish and heartless to deny the illegal immigrants an opportunity to achieve the “American Dream”.  Aside from the fact that this purported dream hasn’t been worth the effort by millions to go about it legally and assimilate into our society, the following photo is clearly intended to show that some feel there is actually a debt owed to them.  CAN THIS POSSIBLY BE REAL?

Value Added Tax Not a Bad Idea, Says Top White House Economic Adviser

(CNSNews.com) – Paul Volcker, chairman of the Economic Recovery Advisory Board under President Obama, suggested this week that a value-added tax (VAT), which is like a national sales tax, may be needed to pay for the federal government’s entitlement spending and the federal deficit.

In answer to a question after a speech at the New York Historical Society on Tuesday, Volcker said a VAT is “not a toxic idea,” and further said,  “If at the end of the day we need to raise taxes, we should raise taxes.”

RULES FOR RADICALS

“Community Organizing” was pioneered in Chicago’s old stockyards neighborhood by the soberly realistic, unabashedly radical Saul Alinsky. Alinsky wrote in the first chapter, opening paragraph of the book Rules for Radicals,  “What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.”
